So, I wanted to reach out to both fandoms because for the past few months, I’ve seen a bit of imbalance in terms of the whole Symbiosi: All will be well, unity and combined effort, and I wanted to clarify what seems to be a common misconception.

 Here’s the thing guys, we’re making events and campaigns geared to BOTH fandoms, and many of the negative posts I’m seeing is geared to independent movements made by other fans, and the occasional troll whose only goal is to cause strife.

 Please don’t judge a fandom based on what a couple of trolls are doing, or give people flack for creating their own events, since that doesn’t reflect the majority of the fandom. We’re not going to stop making combined events, and no one’s betraying the other fandom, so let people do what they want in peace.

 I’d urge people to stop trying to throw insults and backhanded comments at other fandom members, but to rather go message the real people we need to be contacting, which is WB.

It’s awesome that an actual YJ blog is saying this.

This is a good example of the type of backhanded insult that was called out in the post and we want to avoid going forward. In fact I don’t really understand the point of this statement other than to be rude to the YJ fandom.

Except how could a Fantern think that Symbiosi is only relevant to them when it originates from Young Justice. Perhaps if it we has chosen a neutral phrase or combined it with a term from GLTAS, it would’ve been backhanded, but the term is exclusively YJ so it could only be misinterpreted as meaning only supporting YJ.

Except it says Symbiosi: All will be well right there.

Almost no one has used it in it’s full form. In any case you seem to be misunderstanding the meaning of my original comment. I meant that I was impressed that a blog dedicated to YJ videos (read: not connected to GLTAS at all) was writing this.

And honestly, if you want to police this stuff, you might want to go way back because as I said in my tag, the GLTAS faction has been often completely ignored. Even on your blog, you have nothing related to GLTAS displayed to say that you support both shows, your banner, background, and avatar are all YJ-related, which could easily mislead someone.

See this is the big problem I have with a lot of YJ fans, they seem to think whatever’s going on in their fandom is going on in the GLTAS fandom. Well it’s not. I have yet to meet anyone in the GLTAS who hasn’t supported YJ, even if, in instances like right now, it’s really, really hard. I have however, experience the worst of the YJ fandom and have reached out for people to help me explain to him why working together was mutually helpful. Guess how the YJ responded to that? And it’s certainly not your idealized version of what going on right now.

B) I am a fan of both series and I have met plenty of people on both sides who don’t support other shows. I’d name them, but I’m not keen on making enemies just yet. You and several other people just lOOOOOOVE to play the victim, don’t you? I’m not saying that some of the YJ fandom isn’t terrible. In fact, a lot of it is, but the GLTAS fandom is FAR from perfect as well. I’d like to think of myself as kind of objective, as I’m in both fandoms and have been for a while, but you’re probably just going to tear me to bits with some half assed excuse like you’re doing to everyone else who is calling you out on your shit.

I’m not saying anyone is perfect. I’m not saying anyone’s a victim, but as I have said everyone I’ve seen has supported both.

You clearly don’t follow the “big names” in your fandom, then. ALL they do is make dumbass remarks about how the entire YJ fandom is terrible.

Yes I am familiar with some of them, but clearly you don’t follow them either if you assume they ONLY do that.

I recently unfollowed someone because almost all of the posts that they have made lately have been about how we need to band together to save our shows, but YJ fandom, you had better not hijack this post or there will be hell to pay. Me. Someone with “CLOSE CONNECTIONS TO GIANCARLO AND SPISAK.”

I follow pretty much every major person in the fandom, I have seen no one ever claim to have big connections with either Giancarlo or Spisak. There are people who know them and are friendly with them, but no one who claims to have connections with them.

There is a reason why I put the words in quotes, dearie. I have seen some fairly erroneous claims to “friendlyness” with people who work on the shows from people in your fandom.

Also, in response to your shot in the dark at Nightwingess, I have SO MANY people in the YJ fandom blacklisted it’s not even funny.

I figured the quote meant you were quoting them.

I follow YJFanvids and a GLTAS blog.

YJFanvids is primarily a Young Justice fan blog. However, all the graphics the mod made to save both shows included GLTAS, she put up links to livestreams, and has generally been supportive of the show despite being primarily a YJ blog. She gets attacked by GLTAS fans on occasion.

The GLTAS blog I follow also talks about saving both shows, and while they are not graphics makers, they do support YJ a bit.

The fact is the YJ fandom is larger, so many times it seems as if YJ fans are being unequal in support. Some definitely are, but the majority seem to support both shows whether they watch them or not. GLTAS fan majority also seems to be supportive of both shows, with a minority not.

This argument is getting old and tired. If you have this much energy to debate over who’s doing what for what fandom, you have enough energy to go support your show some more.

In addition to everything windona has just said, I’d just like to point out with a bit less civility that you are all being ridiculous.

You’ve found a post made by a blog that supports both GLTAS and YJ fandoms (despite it having almost nothing to do with the blog’s original purpose as a hub for Young Justice AMVs), asking that we avoid insulting or giving backhanded comments to other members of the collective fandom.

And you bicker on it. 

Someone has essentially said “HEY GUYS LET’S BE PEACEFUL AND SHIT” and what do you do? The exact opposite.
