STUNNING!  These practical superheroine redesigns by Meredith McClaren are just to die for. I love how fashionable they are, how much they take into consideration the real world, there’s a practicality and function that is nevertheless completely badass. They’re also so far away from “basic catsuit” type stuff that it all feels so damn new and fresh!I mean…Look at that freaking Zatanna! I’ve never seen anything like that!

AND, you’ll be able to buy the original line art for some of these as she releases rewards this week for her AWESOME KICKSTARTER…although you guys are going to have to fight me for that Catwoman.

R’john Bernales and Chris Turcotte’s fan art version for Batman & Robin featuring Clayface. Which in all honesty, DC should hire these two because this interpretation is goddamn beautiful.  

Damn it DC there are so many skilled people that do these wonderful things featuring your characters that should be hired on the spot. You should have scouts, people explicitly for looking for media talent like this on social media, blogs and the like.

So Injustice!Damian got me thinking…

I think he’d be a combination of Robin + Nightwing + samurai/ninja-assassin. He’d work solo and mostly down-low, like Cass, but can be flashy at times due to his experience as Robin. Although I like the escrimas, they’re really Dick’s signature weapon, so I thought to modify them a little bit to also be inspired by his League heritage. They’re like bokuto and don’t actually cut anything, but Damian probably hits pretty hard, so villains beware. :p
