so what if finding nemo is actually just a giant delusion of marlin’s to deal with the trauma of seeing his entire family die and he imagines nemo as having a wonky fin so that he’ll always feel like nemo can’t go anywhere without him and therefore will never leave him and it’s basically about him coping and letting go and finding solace and friendship in someone just as crazy as he is: dory?
