Geoff Johns and the crew at DC snuck a lot of nods to our show in the comics, and vice versa.
Before GLTAS even premiered, Guy and Hal met Aya aboard the Interceptor. Since Aya hadn’t built a body in the show yet, they kept her appearance pretty brief. Unfortunately, they erroneously drew the Interceptor flying backwards! Ha ha.
There are even lines of dialogue from our show that I’ve read in the comics. It’s fun to inspire each other.
